Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 is a new phone expected to be released in August, 2019. Redmi made this announcement in a Weibo post. The phone will be launched at the same event where the company will launch their first every smart TV. This event would see Xiaomi launching their first 64 mega pixel camera.

While the phone will originally be launched in China, it will make its way to India in the last quarter of the year. The new sensor was unveiled in May which showed that Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 will be the first phone to have this primary sensor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 competitors for the year are Realme 5 pro and Realme 5. 

Software

This Xiaomi phone will come with a display touchscreen and powered by Octa core MediaTek Helio G90T. The operating system will be Android 9 Pie, which is the latest OS by Android. The phone will accept Nano-Sim cards and will be a dual-Sim phone. Both the Sims will have GSM support, 3G, 4G and LTE.

Camera

This phone is expected to sport a great front camera. The rear camera is 64 mega pixel which will provide awesome resolution. Along with rear autofocus and rear flash, the camera will have HDR feature too. A teaser of the camera image showed that there is a new sensor. The camera comes with Tetracell technology. The additional 3D HDR will allow the users to take pictures with much more clarity and detail.

Connectivity

There are multiple connectivity options on Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. It will include GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi and 4G. Moreover, there are multiple sensors in the phone including ambient light sensor, finger print sensor, face unlock feature, accelerometer, compass and magnetometer. So, you really do have a smart phone in Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.
